I continue to receive compliments from residents who enjoyed Johnny Cash Now’s performance at LaFayette’s annual Freedom Festival. Approximately 4,000 attended the festival; that turnout was great, considering the miserable 102 degree temperature that day. Johnny Cash played a concert in LaFayette in 1970 to help raise funds to build a new athletic facility. Residents have fond memories of the concert and Johnny Cash, so I was pleased when the audience got involved with your performance and shouted out requests. We also appreciated that you were able to incorporate the festival’s other band, a brass band, to play back-up during one of the songs, which made the show even more special. Thank you for the memorable performance, and I hope that we will be able to bring Johnny Cash Now back to another event in LaFayette in the future.

Gray Sartin played to a full house at the Cumming Playhouse on May 19, 2012. This was his first appearance at 101 School Street in Cumming, Ga. where he was very well received. Out of the 182 available seats, 156 were tickets sold for this particular show with 26 being gift certificates previously purchased by patrons. In total, the show brought in around $2730.00 in ticket sales and was considered a complete sell-out. Gray Sartin’s portrayal of Johnny Cash was excellent and entertaining. We found it to be a show suitable for all audiences. By design, the Cumming Playhouse has developed a reputation as a trusted venue for family entertainment. Mr. Sartin met this standard in all respects and due to popular demand has been invited back to perform at the Playhouse in January 2013. We highly recommend this show and Mr. Sartin himself as a person of integrity and great talent.

Recently the Georgia Association for Career & Technical Education hosted its 65th Annual “Education & Economic Development Summit.” We had over 2,400 career and technical middle and high school teachers, guidance counselors, principals, technical college faculty and business and industry partners in attendance. Each year I secure entertainment for a member networking reception. My goal with each reception is to have a group perform that will be enjoyable and beneficial for all our attendees. This year approximately 200 attendees came to our member networking reception and were able to hear the Johnny Cash Now Band perform. I was totally blown away by the quality and accuracy of what I heard. Not only does the Johnny Cash Now Band sound like Johnny Cash they also look exactly like what comes to mind when one thinks of Johnny Cash. It is rare if not impossible to find a group that hits the mark as close as this one does. I found myself feeling as though I was watching a real performance of Johnny Cash. I cannot convey the quality of this band with words. You must see them perform live to truly understand how talented these professionals are. I would like to highly recommend Johnny Cash Now and would be happy to speak with anyone interested in booking them. Our attendees were very pleased and raved about the performance.

I am writing to thank you for agreeing to entertain us at our Region Rally/Convention in Gadsden, AL. “Johnny Cash Now” was a huge hit with our members! Thanks for such a great show. It was well received by everyone attending the performance on October 26, 2013.

As you know WBCCI is the Airstream Owners Association, with over 5,000 members worldwide. We have 12 Regions in our organization. Region 6 in the Southeast US, so we certainly could relate to Johnny Cash Now… Johnny and June were great! I certainly will pass on your info to the other regions.
